The Author's Apology From Mrs. Warren's Profession Shaw, Bernard New York Brentano's 1905 First Thus Soft Cover Very Good 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall Binding is tight. Pages are clean. Small book with some edgewear, mainly on the bottom edge since it was longer than the stiff card stock underneath. Spine has some damage at bottom about 1 inch. Has property stamps on covers. It also has the original black ribbons that held the book closed, now opened. The play, Mrs. Warren's Profession, was closed down for a time due to disorderly conduct by the actors.
